Santa’s Wonderland Biometric Information Policy

Santa’s Wonderland may use facial recognition technology as part of certain photo services offered during your visit. This technology helps identify and match photos taken of you throughout the park so you can more easily find and enjoy your Santa’s Wonderland memories.
This Biometric Information Policy explains how information used for facial recognition is collected, used, protected, and deleted.

Information We Collect
When you participate in photo services that use facial recognition technology, a photograph of you may be analyzed to create a digital representation of facial characteristics used to identify and match other photos of you taken during your visit.
This information may be considered a biometric identifier or biometric information under applicable law.
How We Use Biometric Information
Biometric information collected through our photo services is used to provide and support photo-matching services, including identifying, organizing, and locating photos taken of you during your visit.
Santa’s Wonderland does not sell biometric identifiers or use biometric information collected through these photo services.
Notice and Consent
By taking a photo or participating in an attraction, activity, experience, or other area where photo services are provided, you acknowledge and consent to the use of facial recognition technology to identify and match photos taken of you during your visit.
By participating in these photo experiences, you consent to the collection and use of this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Biometric Information Policy.
Sharing of Information
Santa’s Wonderland may use trusted service providers to operate our photography and facial recognition services. These providers may process biometric information only as necessary to provide and support these services on our behalf.
We do not sell or lease biometric identifiers.
Biometric information may also be disclosed when required by law or with appropriate consent.
Security
Santa’s Wonderland and its service providers use reasonable safeguards designed to protect biometric information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Biometric information is treated as sensitive information and protected with reasonable care in accordance with applicable law.
Retention and Deletion
Biometric information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the photo-matching service and will be permanently deleted within the time required by applicable law.
Photos themselves may be retained separately from biometric information used to match those photos.
Your Choices
Guests who do not wish to use facial recognition photo-matching services may choose not to participate.
