Role

Santa’s Helpers in the Rides Department are responsible for the safe and smooth operation of various attractions, including the Trains, Inflatables, Santa’s Ship, the Buckin’ Bulls and Rowdy Reindeer Rides. In this department, safety is the top priority! Every guest must sign a waiver before participating, and you will help manage the flow of the line to keep wait times efficient. You’ll help maintain order in ride lines, assist guests on and off rides, monitor ride safety, and report any concerns with equipment or procedures. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness around the attraction and assist with any guest inquiries. As a Rides Helper you will create a Wow Experience by interacting and greeting guests, encouraging them on the rides, and creating magic with all of the guests. Your scheduled shifts WILL vary daily, so flexibility is key!

• Guest Assistance: Assist with loading and unloading guests from attractions.

• Waiver Collection: Ensure all guests sign waivers completely and effectively at select attractions.

• Ride Oversight: Ensure proper operation and condition of ride equipment.

• Exemplify Christmas Hospitality: Create magical moments with outstanding guest interaction and service.

• Provide Excellent Guest Service: Answer questions, assist with park information, and prioritize guest satisfaction.

• Clock-In Accuracy: Report to work on time, regularly check and approve your timecard.

• Maintain a Clean, Tidy Workstation: Keep your area spotless and well-organized to reflect the high standards of Santa’s Wonderland.

• Prioritize Safety and Security: Stay alert to prevent hazards, recognize safety risks, and follow safety protocols. Kindly enforce all safety rules, including but not limited to, ages on Buckin Bulls and Rowdy Reindeer, number of guests on inflatables, guests on train, etc.

• Attend Mandatory Trainings and Graduations: Participate in Santa’s Wonderland University (SWU) and park-wide training events.

• Park Policies: Must adhere to and follow all park policies and rules.

• Stock Coolers: Ensure all Coca-Cola coolers across the park remain fully stocked throughout your shift.

Whether you’re tilling snow, grooming tubing lanes, or helping prepare the snow play area, you’ll be part of a Christmas tradition for years to come! At Santa’s Wonderland, you won’t just have a job – you’ll be part of a magical Christmas experience like no other!

Hours

To maintain a Texas-sized snow operation, we need Snow Groomers throughout the day and night! Available shifts include:

• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (graveyard)

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (morning)

• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (afternoon)

Role

This is a labor-intensive, physical position, working in the cold. As a Snow Groomer, you will ensure that Frostbite’s Mountain and the Snow Play areas are full of snow and ready for opening each day. You will groom and maintain the snow tubing lanes and till the snow play area. This position is a very physical job, requiring heavy snow hoses, moving snow with shovels, using a tiller for snow play, and organizing tubes. Your scheduled shifts WILL vary daily, so flexibility is key!

• Area Maintenance: Keep the snow play area and Frostbite’s Mountain clean and well-maintained at all times. This includes removing trash, sweeping, squeegeeing, sanitizing tubes, and organizing equipment.

• Equipment Care and Financial Responsibility: Use snow tools and equipment responsibly, monitor snow machines, and report any malfunctions or concerns promptly.

• Daily Readiness: Prepare all lanes for operation based on expected guest volume and shift needs.
