Availability
Applicants must be available for the duration of the season, which is November 14, 2025 – December 30, 2025, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Starting Pay
$13/hour + Holiday Pay

Role
THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION. As a Guest Services Specialist, you’ll be the welcoming voice and helping hand behind the magic of Santa’s Wonderland! You will assist guests with questions before, during, and after their visit, whether by phone, email, or Facebook message. From ticketing and event details to resolving concerns, your role is to ensure guests receive clear, accurate information delivered with patience, professionalism, and genuine Texas hospitality. While you won’t interact face-to-face, your warmth and enthusiasm should shine through every interaction. To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of the Santa’s Wonderland website, ticketing system, and park policies. A positive, detail-oriented approach and the flexibility to work a schedule that varies daily are key to creating an outstanding guest experience!
Essential Job Duties
Welcome Guests with Christmas Spirit: Greet and acknowledge every email with a warm “Howdy! Merry Texas Christmas!” Or if on the phone, “Howdy! Merry Texas Christmas! Thank You for calling us here at Santa’s Wonderland! My name is _______!”.
Exemplify Christmas Hospitality: Create magical moments with outstanding guest interaction and service.
Provide Excellent Guest Service: Answer questions, assist with park information, and prioritize guest satisfaction.
Clock-In Accuracy: Report to work on time, regularly check and approve your timecard.
Maintain a Clean, Tidy Workstation: Keep your area spotless and well-organized to reflect the high standards of Santa’s Wonderland.
Attend Mandatory Trainings and Graduations: Participate in Santa’s Wonderland University (SWU), Zendesk training (department training), and park-wide training events.
Park Policies: Must adhere to and follow all park policies and rules.
Be Knowledgeable: Ensure you are extremely familiar with our ticketing system, understand all we offer, and can guide our guests through the ticket purchase and reschedule process through email.
Prioritize Communication: Communicate with designated team members if a guest becomes escalated. Be sure you accurately document all details required in the Guest Service platform, Zendesk
Assist with Ticketing: Guide guests through the ticket purchasing process with clarity and ease.
Handle Inquiries with Care: Answer questions and address concerns with patience, kindness, and professionalism.
Communicate Across Channels: Interact with guests via phone, email, or online chat to provide accurate information about Santa’s Wonderland products, services, and experiences.
Problem Solve Effectively: Take appropriate steps to resolve guest concerns and ensure satisfaction. When necessary, escalate inquiries to the appropriate team member or department.
Maintain Guest Records: Accurately document guest interactions, including questions, concerns, and resolutions.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
Technical Requirements: Reliable computer/laptop and phone; ability to sit for extended periods and work comfortably at a desk.
Website Proficiency: Strong knowledge of the Santa’s Wonderland website, ticketing system, and park policies.
Computer Skills: Strong typing, navigation, and ability to quickly learn new software.
Preferred Experience: Call center or customer service background.
Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Professionalism: Excellent phone presence, grammar, and writing skills to ensure clear, professional communication.
Personality: Outgoing, friendly, and full of Christmas cheer!
Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate, follow direction, and contribute to a positive environment.
Work Ethic: High energy, integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
