Health and Safety

Santa’s Wonderland is a large outdoor venue with acres and acres of Texas Christmas Celebrations! For 2020, we’ve doubled the park’s walkable space with 10 additional acres that includes a new walkable trail of lights, a new outdoor ice skating arena, and many other new outdoor attractions.  Due to the changing guidelines associated with COVID-19, it is difficult to know the exact impact that we will have across our entire season. Even though we are largely outdoors, we are strategically planning to help accommodate any government mandates that may be active during our season to help create a safe place to enjoy your Texas Christmas Experience.

In addition to doubling the size of the park, we have taken additional steps including but not limited to: extending opening hours for select dates of our season, socially distanced hayrides, private VIP Horse and Carriage rides, redesigned line queues, increased sanitation protocols, employee health screening and temperature checks, expanded outdoor seating and tables, easily accessible hand sanitizer stations across the park, new reservations for various attractions, touchless ticketing, touchless food ordering, and daily parking limitations.

All employees at Santa’s Wonderland with the exception of socially distanced performers will be wearing masks during the 2020 season. Masks are highly recommended. Based on current Government mandates, guests are required to wear masks while inside Santa’s Wonderland buildings or buses (unless eating or drinking or under 10 years of age) and when social distancing is not feasible. We recommend having a mask or face covering on hand in case you wish to shop or enjoy these indoor spaces.

Although these items may be subject to change during our season as mandates change, we are working to determine our best plans of action that are in line with guidance from our local government and health officials! For planning your trip, we recommend checking out our Attendance Meter!

As you approach your visit with us, we recommend checking back or reviewing this page to get up to date with any changes we have made. See our current policies and procedures below:
